Swimming Pool

Here at St Aubyn's we are lucky to have a small (7m x 3m) indoor heated swimming pool, which you are welcome to use after breakfast until early evening. We don't have a lifeguard so all children must be accompanied by an adult. There is a shallow end and a deep end, so suitable for most swimmers. A great way to relax after a day out!

Breakfast

For each night of your stay with us, breakfast is included and served in the Dining Room.

As well as Cereals, Fruit, Yoghurt, Toast and Preserves, we also have several cooked options, from Scrambled Eggs to the Full English. To compliment all of this is freshly brewed Coffee, a selection of Teas or Hot Chocolate.

Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies when booking.

Garden & Parking

At the back of the house is a south facing garden, with tables and chairs that you are welcome to use. Guests often relax here to read or chat with fellow guests. On request, we provide complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and we usually also have home made cake or cookies to enjoy too.

We also have our own own private car park with a space allocated for each room.

Location

Burnham-on-Sea is ideally located on the Somerset Coast with miles of sandy beaches on our doorstep. We are just 2 miles from the M5 and A38 and a 30 minute drive from Bristol International Airport. The town also has good rail and coach links.

St Aubyns itself is situated just 70m from the seafront and a short five minute walk into the town, making it a perfect place to relax on the beach, or take a stroll and enjoy the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants in the town.

Explore Somerset

To enjoy the surrounding area, then there are many things to do whilst with us, these include visiting National Trust properties, sauntering through picturesque villages as well as activities for children and retail therapy. Nearby attractions include Cheddar Gorge, Wells Cathedral, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury and Weston-super-Mare.

Burnham has it own Tourist Information Centre for the latest information and details on events and so often worth a visit.

Getting Greener

We have introduced a number of small changes to reduce our carbon footprint and our environmental impact.

For 2022, we have invested in solar power and energy capture to make us more self-sufficient for electricity (sunshine permitting!).

Through our energy provider, the remainder of our electricity is from renewable sources.

We have vastly improved our recycling in the last few years and continually look for ways that we can make improvements to our energy efficiency and reduce waste.
